PEEK-GF15 Glass Fiber Reinforced PEEK 3D Filament
PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone) is one of the highest-performance polymers in the world. PEEK + 15% Glass Fiber allows for high thermal properties, low warp, improved dimensional stability, and stronger / stiffer parts.
Product Attributes Include:
• Amazing Thermal Resistance up to 298°C
• Glass Transition Temp (Tg) of 143°C
• Heat Distortion Temp (HDT @ 1.8MPa) of 298°C
• Melt Temp (Tm) of 343°C
• Inherent flame resistance (UL94 V-0)
• Outstanding mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance
• Continuous Use Temperature (CUT) of 260°C for 10,000 hours, up to 298°C for short durations (ONLY POSSIBLE WITH PROPERLY CRYSTALLIZED PARTS).
• Excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals, such as those used in the oil/gas, automotive, aerospace, industrial, and chemical processing industries
Filament Specifications:
• Diameter:  1.75mm (+/- 0.05mm)
• Colors: BLACK/NATURAL
• Larger reel quantities available upon request
Recommended Print Conditions:
• Extruder Temp: 395 – 410°C
• Bed Temp: 125 – 145°C
• Bed Prep: Bed Prep: Rough Borosilicate Glass with PVP gluestick, or high temp carbon fiber sheet plus PVP glue stick, we also recommend the Vision Miner Nano Polymer
• Enclosure temp (if your printer is equipped): 70 – 140°C [hotter is better, up to 140°C]
• Print Speed: 10-50 mm/s for 0.2mm layer height, fast as results dictate
• Drying Instructions: Please dry at @110-120°C for 12-24 hours, for the first dry its recommended to dry for at least 24 hours before using, the drying time can be lowered using a vacuum oven and also storing the filament in a degassing chamber when not in use.
• Nozzle: We strongly recommend a 0.4mm orifice or larger using one of our Carbide nozzles
• Layer Height: Ideal layer height is 60% of nozzle diameter. We do not recommend printing layers below 0.20mm with glass fiber grades. Lower than 0.20mm may create too much back pressure in the hot end and result in poor feeding, jams, drive gear clicking, and eating a notch into the filament.
• Please note – GF-PEEK has a tendency to stick to metal (PEEK loves metal). Please make sure to purge out your extruder before it cools down or you run the risk of permanent clogs.
